Sněžka (1,602 meters above sea level) - is the symbol of Karkonosze, a border peak, part of the Crown of the Polish Mountains.
How to get to Śnieżka?

The first option for the active - hiking trails to choose from:

  • Blue - the gentlest trail leading from the Wang temple in Karpacz through Mały Staw and Strzecha Akademická
  • Red - leads from under the parking lot below the Orlinek Hotel through Lomniczka Valley
  • Black - the most difficult trail starting in Karpacz at the lower base of the ski lift to Mała Kopa via Biały Jar

The second option is a gondola lift - a ride from the Czech town of Pec pod Sněžkou to the foot of Sněžka

When going up to the mountains, be sure to take the proper precautions and adapt your route to the weather conditions and your abilities.
